Meltem Design Studio founder Meltem Coskan started her namesake brand by crafting for herself, by herself. Drawing inspiration from objects she collected throughout the years, she enjoys combining old with the new and making people be in contact with them. Her diverse collection consists of antiques from different cultures which she considers to be traces of the past. Meltem Coskan crafts Anatolian inspired jewellery with a contemporary twist; organic curves and amorph shapes are revealed from different hard metals, Ottoman-inspired motifs and contemporary shapes take the form of showpiece necklaces and earrings.

Handcrafted of silver, bronze, gold and brass, displaying expert artisanship, Meltem Design aims to offer timeless elegance and modern refinement. Born from the need of producing ‘the dream piece’, she continues its search to find what is missing from every jewellery owners collection. 

Meltem Design Studio kurucusu Meltem Coşkan marka yolculuğuna hayalindeki parçayı üretme hedefiyle çıktı. Bu hedef ile her mücevher sahibinin koleksiyonunda eksik olanı bulmak için tasarımlarını zanaati ile birleştirdi. Takılar aracılığıyla yıllar içinde biriktirdiği objelerden aldığı ilhamı ve onların yaşanmışlığını herkesle paylaşmayı hedefliyor. Kapsamlı koleksiyonu; geçmişin izleri olarak gördüğü, farklı kültürlerden harmanladığı antikalardan oluşuyor. Meltem Coşkan, Anadolu esintili takıları çağdaş bir dokunuşla işliyor. Sert metallerden organik ve amorf şekiller ortaya çıkarırken; Osmanlı esintili çağdaş motifler koleksiyonun kolye ve küpelerinde bir araya geliyor.

Gümüş, bronz, altın ve pirinçten detaylı bir zanaatkarlık ile elde üretilen takılar, Meltem Design’ın zamansız ve modern zarafetini sunmayı hedefliyor.
